Each row keeps the license of its `source`: - `wildchat` — [WildChat-4.8M](https://huggingface.co/datasets/allenai/WildChat-4.8M) by Ai2, **ODC-BY 1.0**: attribution required. - `tagengo` — [lightblue/tagengo-gpt4](https://huggingface.co/datasets/lightblue/tagengo-gpt4), published under **Apache 2.0** by Lightblue. Only the first human turn of each conversation is used, never the model's answer. Its authors built it from prompts of [lmsys/lmsys-chat-1m](https://huggingface.co/datasets/lmsys/lmsys-chat-1m), which is distributed under its own licence; these rows are redistributed under the licence Tagengo was published with. 17,742 rows, almost all German, Italian and Portuguese. - `oasst2` — [OpenAssistant/oasst2](https://huggingface.co/datasets/OpenAssistant/oasst2), **Apache 2.0**. - `aya` — [CohereForAI/aya_dataset](https://huggingface.co/datasets/CohereForAI/aya_dataset), **Apache 2.0**. - `mfaq` — [clips/mfaq](https://huggingface.co/datasets/clips/mfaq), **CC0 1.0** for the compilation; the questions themselves come from public FAQ pages crawled by Common Crawl. The titles were generated with [gemma 4 e2b](https://huggingface.co/google/gemma-4-E2B-it), and so were the translations. The [Gemma Terms of Use](https://ai.google.dev/gemma/terms) §3.3 state that Google claims no rights in outputs generated with the model, so neither the titles nor the translated text carry a licence of their own from that side. **A translated row is still a derivative of its English original
